How to Avail Globe ABS Anti Bill Shock On GoSurf 999
It is very clear on Globe's policy that once you reach 1500 bill for GS99 to GS999 you are automatically covered by ABS policy, but why people are still complaining about getting disconnected due to unpaid balance, here's how it works.
Requirements:
- Globe postpaid SIM with GoSURF (Any plan will do)
- Enough spending and credit limit (these two are different)
What goes wrong?
At default Globe will lock your spending limit to P200, which is surely not enough to cover up the 501 needed for ABS to come in play for GS999. Solution, call customer service or better yet go to Globe stores for increase in spending limit.
The tough part is your credit limit, supposedly Globe gives you 1700 credit limit which means at GS999 you can still raise your spending limit to 700, because the 999 which is your MRF (monthly recurring fee) is automatically deducted to your credit limit, hence you still have 700 left for spending, which also means you can avail Anti Bill Shock of 1500 with 200 remaining for other stuffs to spend.
Another scenario for ID only application (no lock-in period) Globe will only give you the lowest credit limit possible because you didn't show any proof of income, which is not enough to to avail ABS even though your SIM is qualified but not your credit limit.
Note: Some users reported that ABS is capped at 150gb, some 50gb, some also reported of true unlimited. As a proof, you can ask customer service and be SHOCKED to different replies. So, apply at your own risk!
